Student Services News

Student Drop Off/Pick Up
No student drop off is allowed in the front bus zones between 6:45 am and 7:10 am. See below for the student drop off map. Please follow the same flow for pick up at the end of the day.

Late Drop-off
Any student arriving after 7:15 must be dropped off in the front bus loop because all other entrances will be closed and locked.  We will be as flexible with tardiness for the first day or two.  After that, students will need to sign in late.

After School Pick-up
After school pickup is in the rear parking lot. Do not park on the Annaquatucket side of the building - it prevents the Jamestown buses from leaving. Again, there will be a heavy amount of congestion at first. Please be patient while everyone adapts to the drop-off and pickup process.

Junior Parking Passes
More information regarding parking passes will be sent to Juniors in October.

FBI Citizens Academy Program Attendees
Guidance councilor, Ms. Mancini has been attending weekly classes at FBI headquarters in Massachusetts as a member of the FBI Citizens Academy. She and her son, Kole Mancini (NK Class of 2024), visited the FBI training facility where they watched SWAT training, learned about evidence collection, and had hands-on firearms training.

The Citizens Academy programs are engaging six-to-eight-week programs that give business, religious, civic, and community leaders an inside look at the FBI. Classes meet in the evenings at FBI field offices around the country. Their mission is to foster a greater understanding of the role of federal law enforcement in the community through frank discussion and education. Candidates are nominated by FBI employees, former Citizens Academy graduates, and community leaders. Participants are selected by the special agent in charge of the local FBI field office. To find out more about an FBI Citizens Academy in your area, contact your local field office.
